    Ok... me in a GTP with a downpipe, plugs, t-stat, intake, and a box tune
    or a 87 Camaro w/ a 305 stock except exhaust in a quarter mile?

    Having had an 86 camaro with a stock 305, only having exhause, the car was slow, extremely slow. it only had 2.73's out back. 1/4 time in the camaro stock is problaly 16.5-17 at best.

    yeah ive had me an 87 transam with a stock 305 with exhaust and if you dont beat him, sell ur car and quit drivin bro.

    those 305's did pump out from 160 to 180 hp for the ho model. my 85 ss mc came with 305 ho(lol) rated at 180 hp. replaced with a double hump headed 327. much better (back in the day)

    a GT would win with minor intake/exhaust mods. my brother had an 82 with a 350 (super crappy tune on it) that he put together and thought was nice and my XGT would have blown his doors off. that car was SLOW.

    Garbage. The 305 camaros run like a 16 sec. quarter. They are slow as balls hell a 3800 firebird could beat one.

    yeah i had a 92 camaro rs 305 auto, they are like 170hp, slow as heck, a 3100 gp would probably give it a hard time lol.

    heck, my old 86 f250 could clean both their clocks easily, course i built a 521 cube big block and put in it. its heavy at 4950 but its fast.kicks ass on gtp.

    I know right, he wanted me to ask you guys and see the results for himself. He only races at the track and since it's the middle of winter here in michigan, I won't be able to prove him otherwise until spring.
