The 4x4's are treated mainly because you can't get 4x4's not at Lowe's. Plus they will hold up nice if they do get wet. Everything else is pine or whatever.
If I stained it then I wouldn't want to work on it lol.

It certainly is nice. I spent most of my day yesterday adding insulation to the garage doors. So far it seems to make quite a difference; I should make my money back on that pretty quick. I highly recommend it if you have the standard aluminum doors. Today I got the drywall all finished, since the builder only does rough out work. To spend the time and a little more money and do the checker tile pattern or do the rustoleum epoxy More then likely it will be the epoxy do to the fact the its cheaper and easier
