1962 International rat rod?
1962 International rat rod
it's an olds, grand am, and international in one!
Why.....
Considering most people don't bother to read up on the problems their cars have. I would bet money says it isn't a head gasket, but a really REALLY messed up LIM Gasket issue. If not tho, tear it down and replace all the gaskets, would be a couple hundred in parts and time to fix it, less than $2500 for a GTX. I'd go for it, but that's a long trailer ride back home.Quote:
The car has a blown head gasket. You can drive about 15 miles, then it starts to over heat. I'm asking $1800obo, or trade. I just need something reliable. Everything else on the car works perfectly, I wish I could keep it, I just dont have the money to fix it. It has 150k miles, which is really good for the year.
It's tempting if it is a real GTX

Silvermist is an uncommon color? Since when? Next to Galaxy Silver, it's like the most common...

I texted her yesterday about it and i never got a response. I want more pics to prove its a real gtx and not just a hood. From the pics it doesnt look like those are gtx wheels. Look more like reg 5 spoke polished to me. And gtx came in 4dr and 2dr? The majority ive seen have been red 2drs.
i think I have seen a few 4 doors unless they were clones. I thought in the pic it had what appeared to have GTX badges on the door. they were faint, but i thought they were there.
plus i think those are monte carlo wheels or lumina ltz wheels
^img fail on my end...darn this work filter
Almost NONE of the GTX's had GTX wheels. I promise. I've been in a few legit GTXs with only the hood, basic engine upgrades, and badges. That's all they HAD to come with.
And I'll say it again, a GTX could easily be a GT too. Not many were, but it's possible to have a non-supercharged GTX.
2-door is more common as GTX as well, but 4-door is possible.
^ THIS.
The only difference between any GT/GTP is what SLP decided to put on them, Some had a full package, some had the bare basics. All were factory cars that we just shipped to SLP and upgraded... could allow for any body style or color and a multitude of options.
The only thing they all HAD to have in common was the SLP plate put onto the door panel, to signify it really did go to SLP for the GTX modifications.
