Make sure the transmission warranty is transferable, and that you can add a cooler without voiding the warranty, lol.
Check and check lol. I thought about the warranty being transferable but didn't think about a cooler possibly voiding anything.
The main thing besides the transmission that worries me is dod problems. I'm not fully aware of the cause and damage from dod concerning oil consumption. I hear things about the piston rings which is obviously not really repairable. I can do lifters but at 150k I'm sure it's too late
You gotta pull the heads to change the lifters, FYI.

I think I'm gonna go for an l32 car. Easier to work on and cheaper to own. No tunes allowed for 06-08 though. So 04 and 05 limits it down
