If you have a fully assembled cat back that will bolt right up to the down pipe it will be simple (as long as the down pipe bolts come loose). The actual cat back is only held on by rubber donuts and two bolts.
Make sure you spray those rubber donuts down with WD-40, they can be tough to get the hangers out of.
Yes, check to see if it will bolt up first. Then pre-fit everything together to make sure you know it will work and make it easier to fit up when under the car. Use a lot of wd-40 and you might need a torch to heat up the bolts to make sure they come loose.
My damn bolts just broke so I had to grind them off and drill them out and put stainless ones in. Catback is an easy change if you can get the bolts out.
