A fan.... I'm a NUT!!!!!
My old car which beautiful but took too much $$$ to keep it running. I had a V8 Archie 350 kit and an 88 Iroc 350 that was going to be built to put in it. I worked on this car since I was 14 in 2005 and sold it just this June. I sold it to buy a better driver and one that would actually have something to show for the money I put in it. I dumped over 7500 in that fiero and it still ran like crap, but i loved every minute of it. It handled so amazing around corners and S curves, and the 2.8 V6, while not powerful by any means, made the cornering fun.
An L67 can be swapped into these cars so simply. Drop the cradle, new mounts, different axels, wire it, exhaust, and enjoy running 12's with a stock motor

I have 2!! one with a 350, and my l67 is my current project. Should be done in the spring! I'm hoping to run high 10's
I wouldn't recommend a 5spd if your planning on building a built l67.... The 5 spds don't handle the power to well.... As for the dash, There is so much you can do with them. These cars are endless! Engines/Interiors/bodies, There Amazing!!!!
I've always wanted a swapped Fiero, maybe someday.
There was a guy at ACS 4 with an L67 Fiero that was headed and cammed, it was running constant 11.70s @ 115 on street tires, pump gas, street trim and on chrome 18s too. Really nice car, it was his DD and he drove it there
Fiero's have the one thing that these GTP's done have. Me being a V8 Fiero owner and a GTP owner it drives me NUTS trying to take off quick and not getting the traction. The car has 225/60/16's on it, with really sticky Z rated tires. Last time I went to the track with my Fiero, I was getting 1.8 60ft times on 225/50/16 H rated street tires being Mid Engine and rear wheel drive just sorta plants the rear tires and goes. To be honest I hated the 3800S/C Fiero idea because it wasn't a V8, but I'll admit after owning this GTP for a few weeks I am really starting to warm up to the idea. An 11 street car that gets decent gas mileage could be really fun, so long as it was a 5 or 6spd standard.
Heres my swap. However the engine spun two bearings!!
That looks sweet.
tried again. can't get picture to upload.
This is the most badass Fiero. He's in a local car club with me. It's SICK. Pretty much all custom
Here is the full tread of the build.
