83 corvette..............=) LOL
TrasAm WS6, GTO, MAYBE the new camaro SS.
WS6 or a C5 Z06.
Other than that...my '07 Cobalt is kicking just fine.
1969 ZL-1 Corvette:th_bowdown:
or
1971 LS-6 Corvette (for slumming it) :th_laugh-lol3:
I have a 2009 Saturn Sky Redline on the other end of the garage from the GTP. If I felt like dropping the coin, I could see swapping out the Pontiac for a new G8.
Not to get to off track Josh...but do you like it? I've been shopping around for my Mom's new car since she doesn't want to...and figured a auto non turbo car would be great for her...anything to look for?
03 cobra
grand national
c5 Z06
in that order
Truck- Sierra on bags
Car- OLD SCHOOL GTO
I'd either have an 05-06 GTO or an G8 GT for sure. In fact, if anything were to ever happen to my white GTP those 2 choices would be the ONLY suitable replacements as far as i'm concerned.
I've gotten close to getting a GTO a couples times now. Can't let go of the GTP though...
vette... DUH
My next vehicle will probably be an '06-'07 Silverado SS if I can't find an impulse blue GTO.
Whoops. Forgot about the Vette and the G8 GXP
Within the next two years im going to pass down the gp to my brother and buy either a 4th gen T/A or Camaro.
Or maybe a clean s/c mustang if the price is right
For a truck I would want a 04-05 K2 GMC Yukon XL, 4x4, 8.1, and quadrasteer.
For a car a 08-09 vette.
87 T/A GTA
GNX
and most sporty late 60's early 70's cars.
[QUOTE=SuperSport;270576]?? Its not mine, I thought we listed cars we wanted, not owned.
So I dont know how an 07 would do at the strip...I wish I knew! :D
I thought about that reply after I sent it out. Almost looks like vehicles listed in various replies as your were listed, were of vehicles that person had already or still did own. Ayway, I had a brand new '07 SS Monte that ran a best of 13.99 at about 99 m.p.h. all stock at Atco Raceway in N.J. You can view the pix of the car and time slips in the "kills" section within the thread about a '99 GT vs '06 Impalas SS"
I love the Sky, but it is our toy. Ours is a Redline, so it is a turbo version. Mom would probably be more than satisfied with the base model and an automatic, but I do not know how many are still for sale out there with Saturn being axed. It has minimal trunk space, so you have to be good at packing to get much in the trunk. They are very well engineered, and will school the other vehicles in its class like the S2000 or Miata. However there may be other factors like ergonomics, fit/finish, trunk space, etc. that may have her liking the competitors more.
