k so i gotta 00 GP GT it has the stock radio with the seven slide equalizer
for some reason the rear speakers kick in and out when ever they want but when they do they sound just fine also the player skips real easy and doesnt play the second half of CDs real well. wonderin if this could all be connected in some way or why the rear speakers would do somethin like that

The stock 6x9s go bad. Mine did, and I replaced them with infinitys and love them. Nothing is wrong with the wiring, just plugged in new ones and they were great. You wouldnt believe how cheap the factory speakers are put together...

As for the skipping cd player, the player itself is going bad, and eventially youll get a cd error. I say just find a replacement 7 equalizer player, as any aftermarket headunit looks like ass.

    Hope this helps.
