no links bro...
yeah, thats the vortec centrifugal supercharger. looks like a turbo, but it is belt driven, hence its positioning right at the accessory belt
haha yeah mustang guys who can't afford a kenne-belle or an edelbrock or a roush, or any reputable turbo system.... use the vortec
wow looks just like a turbo, hmmm woulda fooled me lol
Ive seen a few of them on stangs and crownvics so i wasnt fooled but it does look like a turbo at first glance
wow. major post fail.
Seriously, that's bad.
They provide a great powerband too. Nothing wrong with CSC and it would probably cost as much to do a kenne bell or turbo setup.
hahahahahahaha... sorry, that's funny :P
On a side note, who says a centrifugal is worse than a twin screw? Either or, you're gunna put down some serious power so how can you say the Vortec is the "cheap" route? Makes no sense at all haha
well my roommate is looking into this same set-up for his mustang and for two reasons. 1. he sucks under the hood, and he's read that it's easier to do than a roots style set up
2. he said its the cheapest forced induction method for the 4.6l. which is surprising because you would think that using terminator cobra parts would be similar to doing a l36 to l67 top-swap
