Looks awesome, great job! Hope the oil filter didn't get dented in the install.
I figured it would. Happened to me too lol
yea we actually had a hard time with the trans and getting the angles right its a pita if you ask me but it will be all worth it when it fires up
Yes. Yes it will be.
Down to the starter torque converter bolts and one single wire conectot that is at the back side of the engine we cant figure out what it isor where it goes

Is the wire connector small, grey, two wires and have a blue rubber seal?
honestly my buddy told me bout it as we were cleaning up said its small at the back and one or two wires ill look at it in the am
also having issue remembering where the grounds all go but that should be easy
Just curious because I've got one sitting back there near the front O2 sensor, not hooked to anything.
ya i was actually thinking some kind of test port but who knows doesnt seem to conect to anything
I'm not sure on our cars but on my parents acura theres a plug around there thats for tach calibration and idle adjust.
It lives but has a po341 cam position sensor code and a few vacuum leaks
and still has one wire not hooked up
I didnt get a pic of it but it comes off of the loom where the oil pressure sensor comes off about 3 inches or so up the loom
Its light grn grey or light blue single wire
Its old and faded so cant really tell
But it does live and when the vacuum wasnt leaking and the cam issue wasnt poped it sounded good
That connector if it is gray and has one wire needs to plug Into your knock sensor on the block. It's gonna be a b1tch because it's the one that's between the transmission housing and the motor. As far as the cam sensor, make sure it's plugged in and mounted poperly in the timing case cover. Did you make sure the cam magnet was still in the cam sprocket and all the dots on the sprockets were lined up properly before you put the housing back on?
Yea magnet is in and it was lined up right the conector is in but I guess we are going to be tearing it apart tomorrow and run through the diag tree
On the cam sensor loom theres only 1 ground right ?
It was loose and we tightened it up but the code still popped
Its not the knock sensor from what i saw its hooked up I can feel and see the conector on it
And to me it looks light almost minty green
Hmm. The green connector is familiar. I'll have to take a look under my car next chance I get and see. I thought the green one was oil pressure, the gray one was vss sensor.
