I need to know if anyone can help me figure out this problem I am having with one of my work trucks.
First off its a 2005 chevy 2500 express van. The problem is that I have no rear turn signals or brake lights. The center or third brake light still works. The turnsignal indicator on the dash flashes rapidly like if a bulb was out, but the tails still light up when the headlights are on. Anyone have any ideas, if you need more info just ask. Thanks everyone.

Well I changed the bulbs and a couple fuses with no luck. I may check the wires running back to the lights tomorrow unless someone else has an idea.

i think the turn signal and brake use common circuit/fillament, the tails use the other. have you removed and checked the bulbs? checked the circuit with a multimeter?

Well I got it fixed today. It turned out to be a spliced wire that was grounding out against the body. Must of had a piece of pipe jam against it and cut it, but all is well. Thanks for all your suggestions
