Haha trust me its worth it! I've never met so many people from different countries who were that friendly! I'm in touch with a lot of those guys, and I meet them every year (I've been going since 2007). Thats what I save up for every year. Luckily my father works for an airline, so airfare is really cheap for me.

I love Iced Earth! I felt sorry for ripper though when Matt Barlow rejoined the band. First he had to leave Judas Priest, and then Iced Earth - that's just s****y luck for a vocalist of his talent.

If you ever end up going for Wacken, get in touch because I'll definitely be there. Loads of beer, great people and metal will be in store!

The whole trip, including airfare should cost you about $2000 at the most. I met some Americans who were there on a smaller budget.

Heard both of 'em and I love them. Had the pleasure of seeing Blind Guardian live last year at Wacken. Absolutely brilliant!

Just saw Motorhead and Nashville ***** in downtown LA on the 9th, along with Reverend Horton Heat. Has to be one of te best shows I've gone to.

    You listen to Amon Amarth?
