Well, here I am again guys and gals. I've gone through so many cars in the last 7 years its rediculous. And now, I'm thinkin about gettin rid of the gtp. See I really like my gtp. And honestly its been a lot of fun so far. Its easy to upgrade, its a four door so thays nice for the little one. Plus I get decent mileage. I just get this itch after awhile with cars. Now I wanna find somethin new. Anyone got any ideas? I've never owned a foreign car anf don't plan on it so stuff like mitsubishi or audi or out. Anything american. And honestly I'm thinkin V8. So far I've only got 3 in mind. A 01-03 Ford Lightning. 04-06 Pontiac GTO. Or a 05+ mustang GT. That's all I got so far. Let me know what u guys think or maybe different opinions

Of the one you listed GTO for sure. Those are sick.
I hate the lightning, but that's only because I hate pickup trucks. And mustangs are slow as **** no matter how much HP ford says the engine makes, except the 03-04 cobra of course.

WS6 t/a is awesome, they're not too expensive anymore. Check autotrader. And I've driven a 2007 mustang gt, it was slower than my GP, 5x the price, and handled like ****.

    no go on the mustang.

the lightning or GTO would both be fun vehicles though.

i would stay away from the lightning, if a ford truck get a powerstroke... ws6 has a cheap interior similar to the gtp. The gto is very nice inside and out, has suspension problems, but the GTO guys have a fix for it...

GTO's are cheap compared to a '05+ GT...plus they are WORLDS nicer and faster if you know how to drive them. Then I gotta rag on that 4.6 DOHC bullsh*t...you have to rev the piss out of those Ford DOHC V8's to make good power

Yeah right. I found a black 05 GT for 16K. The lowest I could find an 05 GTO for was 17K. And they go up a lot from there. But I digress. I would rather have a GTO anyway. Or the lightning. God let's see. Previous cars: a host of dodge ramchargers ranging from 83-91, an 84 chevy blazer, a 74 dodge charger, a 68 el camino with a 383 stroker, a 82 el camino, a 91 s10 with a 355, a 05 RCSB hemi ram, a 87 pontiac ta, a 91 rcsb lowered chevy truck, a 90 stang gt, and prob some others I can't remember. But u get the idea. I get bored easy and wanna buy something new.

My vote is lightning truck, hands down. I've always wanted one, they are cool ass trucks, and look amazing in that blue color.

If you love the Grand Prix why not go for a GXP if you just HAVE to have a v8...or even look into a G8. A buddy of mine had a lighting and well that thing was nice...and then he took the SC out and turbo it and well it kicked some major butt!! As far at the GTO...they are nice but they are heavy! The new Mustang GTs are nice looking but have NO ROOM!!! My x-hubby is 6'1-6'1 280 and I thought once he got in he wouldn't beable to get out! lol!

O here is a link I found of Franks lighting...http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...est/index.html
