i hate this stupid ****ing economy. where did everyones money go? cant you just ****ing act like youre not poor (even though youre stupid wealthy) and buy some god damn products from us so my company can keep me as a full time worker?

i was offered insurance and a full time position a couple weeks ago after working part time for about 3 months prior to that. life was good. now today these ****ers say "oh, nevermind. we are going to have to say no to the insurance and cut your hours." **** YOU.

Its getting better, according to the stock market direction. The economy is largely predicted by the stock market, the stock market is getting much better . Why isn't the economy getting better then? The reason is because their is a huge lag in reflection to the consumer market. Volatility is decreasing in the market and it suggests that things are getting better. The rich are now investing in something, first its stock and eventually its consumer goods.

Another theory is that investors fear the jump in the market is too good to be true and their might be a double bottom. Then well be screwed for a while. In other words people will start taking money out, others will do the same and it will cause widespread panic and a high drop in the market like that happened about a year ago.

I guess I can be thankful I was in the military at just the right time to avoid this. If anything, we get a raise. No chance of a pay cut.

what i love is how some companies are posting some of the biggest profits ever
    Exxon earned a $45.2 billion in 2008
i work for valvoline and they just had some pretty nice profits. the service center managers get $8k bonuses... one manager even triple bonused! and what do the techs get...jack $hit.
tiger woods get 20million a year for wearing a damn check mark on his shirt.
tell me theres not a better way to spread the wealth around.

Its disgusting the way the wealth is spread in this country. The world to a point as well. But more so America. You want to know what Chrysler spent it's bailout money on? Probably not but I'll tell you anyway. Sponsoring the Terminator 4 movie. I swear I want to spit on every Chrysler that was ever made. I never thought they were worth buying before, but certainly not after this.

A lot of people have worked hard for their money and they deserve it. So I feel they should keep it. Now frauds and others should have their money taken away. I hate the idea of someone who does not work or try to work getting my hard earned money in the form of a government check.

I agree that there are people who have worked hard for their money. Most people are like that. I'm talking about the CEO's of these bailout companies, players who play on professional sports teams, and even politicians. I can't remember the stats, but it's something along the lines of 10% of the population of the world has 90% of the wealth. And most have NOT earned it. You can't tell me that NFL players earn their money, when factory works at GM work twice as hard as they do. And I've seen the work that upper brass work on in large companies. Strategic work in action. It's nothing but people spouting ideas about how to make a profitable company even more profitable. And as far as politicians go, they should earn precisely what the people they are representing make. Middle class wages. Sure he may be the president of the u.s., but a little humility would be nice. Not 400K dollars a year.

The president has a lot more on his plate than the normal person. For what they have to deal with they deserve the $400k or more. Even if I do not agree with anything he wants to do I respect the challenges he is faced with.

It's 6% control 90% of the worlds wealth, glad someone has their eyes open here. The world isn't going to change magically, things will stay status quo until we (collectively) want a change. Obama isn't change just another puppet of different corporations. It doesn't matter who you vote for they are all in it together to make one BIG profit.

How can you tell if a politician is lying? He is talking, And corporations are not here to make your life easier. They are here for one thing and one thing only to make money it is their main goal and the law says they have to do it no matter which includes breaking laws... And guess what they can do whatever the hell they want a corporation is the ultimate being all the rights of a human with no responsibility why do you not see CEO's of corps that are destroying environments or feeding terrorist organizations on trial or in jail? Because there is no liability for them it is their world not yours, not mine, not ours.
