How? How are we going overboard? Do you not deal with business in your day to day life? You pay for a product and you expect to recieve it in a timely fashion. You don't disappear off the face of the planet while holding a lot of peoples money. I'm not standing on a soapbox screaming about the injustice of this, I'm asking kindly for an update. Yes a family emergency is a terrible thing but when you run a business you are expected to put the customer first and at the VERY LEAST post one little tiny update that shows you're still alive and functioning.
You do NOT just disappear without any warning and hope people are compliant.
No one is taking anything overboard. Going to the BBB, your CC company and starting to file complaints with PayPal is the next step. None of those things are overboard in this situation.

I'm not the person to get extremely pissed about things but all I can say is that all of you people who are trying to re-assure TDC's customers who payed for items ain't doing anything good other than working all his customers up. Your words don't mean a thing. We need to hear from Parker. He is the one we are doing business with. Gary made this post to find out where his parts are, and 9 pages later he still doesn't know whats going on.
I've been on many other w-body boards for 5+ years but seeing this bashing back and forth makes me sick (I've only joined now for 1 month/less). All of you people seriously need to chill out.
I think we are missing the concept of what a business is. Unless you work for Parker/TDC, you shouldn't be re-assuring us. If you people know him, then please tell him to post here or e-mail his customers. I think if you were out 500-1000 dollars you'd feel the same way.
If Parker does not post up here by Thursday AM, I'm disputing with paypal. Enough said about that.

I am also giving him a deadline of Thursday. I understand grievances, but come on. I also own my own business and you cannot just disappear when you owe people anything be it products, refunds, or services. It is just unprofessional. And when you do come back, you are likely to have lost quite a few customers because of it. I wish him all best truly hope he pops back on here soon.
No matter what happened, He needs to deal with this himself and soon. Theres been enough pissing whining and bi.ching. This is not about anyone here or problems anyone has had with each other. He may be a good guy but this is not how you do business. No matter what happens in my life, my kids still expect to eat, and customers still expect service. My family is full of entrepreneurs, even with a family member passing on saturday, we still have to keep rolling, it's life. infact with 3 close family members passing in the last 2 years, we still find the copurage to keep going. And if he did actually have a loved one pass, I'm truely sorry for him, but he needs to get his head out of the sand and deal with it and life. I see he signed in, contacted one by paypal and seems to have had a moment for a few others, but not publicly which he should. There is also a thread on another site that says he had a death in the family a year or so ago, gone for 10-14 days iirc. But all in all he has over $2000 from us and not a word to those he "owes", and another claim for a $1200 refund? Not to mention suppliers, shipping and now time lost for him from work and his business. I don't see how this will not hurt his business, unless he does something soon. I'd really like this to work out for all of us but i have my doubts.

damn this all sucks i was looking at placing close to a 1500 order this next week :-( guess ill be looking elsewhere for my parts im on a time limit
