What's some good stuff to use to patch up holes in an engine bay of a car?

    I was thinking of bondo.

I got a bunch of holes in my engine bay of my 5.0 (Screw size) and I wanted to smooth it all out, and re-paint it.

    Any suggestions?

Yeah I think bondo would do it, I personally have ****ty luck with it but it's good stuff.

I donno, depends. I've heard you have to be carefull using bondo for applications like this. Because it can crack and fall out over time.

Actually awhile ago on "Two Guys Garage" they were filling in molding holes on a quarter panel. The introduced this new product and use it. From what I remember is was a lead free soldier I believe. Suppose to be real cheap and easy to use. Way better solution than bondo from what I saw on the show, granted I never saw it in person.

If you'd like, i know a good body guy I could ask and he could probably give me a good answer. If you want me to ask him, PM me...
