I'm poor and in college, but I want a cheap, fast, sporty car.

I've looked around and I really like the late 90's Grand Prix GT/GTP....

Where's a good place to find a good deal on the car?! What can I expect to be paying?

    Any advice is helpful....thanks....

mines a '99 which is a good year just don't get a 97 because they dont have the traction control button and you like to do burnouts right lol. anyways i got mine with 136k which isnt bad. I think you would love a gtp, they are awsome to mod and their are just good all around cars.

saying to not get a 97 because of no TC button is laughable... the GT's had one, the GTP's did not. However, just because one has a TC button doesnt mean that you should stomp on the gas and do burnouts. that's a very good way to grenade a differential. I understand the want to make pretty smoke, but a bad idea if the car isnt set up for that.

OP-- definitely search craigslist and autotrader near you. it's unlikely you'll get what you want in your price range from a dealer, unless it's a car in poor shape.

don't forget ebay, sometimes you can get a decent deal there, and car shipping can be cheap (cost me I think $400 to ship mine when I bought it)
