I dont know how many of you guys have been following the failtastic car that is mine. Ive driven it 4 times in the past 4 months and i have no more money for it so got it working one more time after my crank and cam sensors went i get 3 miles away from the shop and it stalls but the twist is i was on my way to trade it in..... I really did love my gtp but obviously it did not love me, so had it towed to the dealer they didnt see it until it was parked so they thought i drove it in guy goes to appraise it and asks why its so loud (I havnt fixed my mufflers that were torn like butter from the last time i got it back) so he was like does it not have a cat so technically i want lieing when i said no it doesnt thats why its loud.... so what am i trading in for ?? i never thought id see the day that i would EVER drive a 4 banger but i found a 2008 cobalt ss with the turbo and the 5 speed stick and was sold only has 5xxx on it and has every option and a warranty, thank you jesus lol , a warranty and the best part is its 3 grand under blue book. Unfortunately i have not been able to find a community that even compares to this one. I really have appreciated everything that people have helped me out with on this site and it makes me sad im not going to have my gtp any more but i just couldnt do it so i just wanted to say thanks

Those are pretty nice cars for a Cobalt...good luck man...trying to do the same thing here too. A few SS Turbo's are trapping mid 12's here with minor bolt-ons, a tune, and race gas...too hard in a GTP lol

well the best part is going to be the fact that gm is releases two stages of upgrades like what they did for the s/c cobalt and number that i heard for the stage two are 290-300 hp and best part is they are warrantied for the life of your factory warranty

and the only reason i didnt gank them is if i put the stock ones on with that cam with it running (or not running) the way it is theres no way id get back enough money lol

You say that until some awesome deal comes along and the GTP is boring you

They were blown until last year when they went from the 2.0 Supercharged and Intercooled LSJ to the 2.0 Turbocharged and Intercooled LNF...
