Soo the light was blinking on and off while driving down the road long after starting it up, now it's always on. I dont know why. Now tht i think about it, the time i put tht new blower motor in the next morning when i started it up something went pop and smoke came rolling out underneath the passengerside floorboard, im thinking the pessengerside airbag delployed inside or something, cause the heater works fine. hmmmmm idk.

I would hope that any issue with the SRS would leave a code set. But the SES light is primarily a system to warn of any issues that would degrade emission performance so Im not 100% certain there would be anything to be found with a scanner. Might need something like a Tech II to read whats going on.

There are fuses for the SRS system, have you checked those to see if they are good or not?

If the SRS airbag deployed it would have shot through your dashboard.... There is a lot of force involved with one being deployed.

I believe you might have lost a fuseable link within the wiring of the SRS system. they are normally the bright yellow and sky blue wires underneath the dash. If the light is flashing, your system is inoperable. a Snap on Scanner, or dealership are able to scan the SRS system to tell you what exactly is wrong. This is an expensive system to repair.

If all else fails...I would take the seats out and pull up the carpet to see what went pop.

Good luck!!, I have experiece with the airbag system on F-bodies...but not these cars..as I have not fully turned one into a drag car....
