100% False on how I am! Why don't you take a closer look at post #15 where I said "I will be skeptical, but I am up for trying things at least once." Why did I say that? Because I may be wrong about the forum and I'm not opposed to being proved wrong on it.

I never once called anyone a racist! Not once did those words come out of my mouth so don't try and twist them to make me look like a bad guy here.

I wasn't around for any of the Street Wolf situation and I was making zero references to that situation because I don't know anything about it. In fact I stopped going to his new and improved Powrtuner forum simply because of the way he bashed Rocket and this forum in his brief return to try and recruit/steal members from GPF.

I do appreciate you clearing up the racist remarks possibility that it would be reported. Instead of flaming me all you had to do was say "Actually if I see a racist remark I will be sure to alert an admin and let them take the appropriate action necessary." Would that have been so hard?

I'm a very easy going guy, Iron. There is absolutely no reason to flame, threaten, abuse me in any way. If you would've explained yourself in a mild manner maybe we could have had a more constructive conversation.

Maybe I'll clarify when I said "my group of friends make racist remarks to each other all the time." I don't use harsh words such as the "N" word and such. I call my Jewish friends "Jewbags" or "Jiddles," My Hindu friend "Curry," etc.. They are more stereotypes, but again we have all been friends for a very long time and we know the limit we can go with each other.

Maybe it's about time I open up a little bit about myself. 1st of all I live in the D.C. Metropolitan area and the Baltimore area. It's very hard to be "sheltered" in these areas no matter who you are. I have an open life. I like cars, i go to school, I own guns, I have a g/f, I go to clubs, I drink at bars, I partied in college, I've been borderline arrested on several occasions and still to this day don't understand how I didn't spend at least one night in jail.

2nd of all, porn, racism, and all the other comments aside, I am a Respiratory Therapist and work in a Hospital every other day, not the weekends, and continuing my education while doing it. You want to talk about sheltered. Being around sick people all day is one experience, and you start to appreciate just how good things are to not be in their situations, but mostly specific ones. Experience the day when a Neonate dies when the parents are standing outside the room crying their lights out, and the doctor can't even hold back when he's apologizing to them telling them they did everything possible.

Think about an 8 year old boy on his death bed from Cystic Fibrosis because his lungs just can't do it any longer. Ask him how he is feeling and tell me how you would handle an 8 year old telling you "I can't wait until this is over."

This is not a church group...it's a car forum. This is NOT the only site/forum that has a private section. The section only requires you to be a GT level member for admission and thats all.

Am I not making it clear enough? It doesn't bother me at all to see certain things. I was simply looking at it from another perspective of how a parent of a 16 year old child would view it if their kid joined. Not that they can't just hop on any of the billions of porno sites as is. There are more reasons than this, but the point is it is not restrictive to them. I also said at least 3 times now that the Admins and Moderators have obviously thought this through, and they know a lot better than I would on how to handle a situation like that.

I understand this section wasn't made overnight. It has been in the making for a few weeks now so obviously there has been much thought into it including the Pros, Cons, benefits and so forth of the section.

Instead of just flaming me and telling me "if you don't like it then don't go in" why didn't you say something along the lines of "Despite the fact it is labeled a Free For All section there are still rules. There will be no racist remarks. The images will be ___, etc."

Seriously, I never told you guys to just "F*** OFF' but that's basically what some of you all did to me when I simply tried to talk about it.

Like I said if you had followed that thread more closely than you did then you would have read the rules and stipulations but you didn't and then you ask the question "how come the porn isn't being banned".

Alright, I stand corrected. I didn't know he was doing all that on the PT boards, interesting. I'm a member of the DHP side since I have a PT, but that forum is worthless IMO. I've gotten very little if any help there.

Yes, you did challenge me, and I am completely okay with that. JoshMcMadMac challenged my statement about my opinions on the M16/M4 use in the military and how I thought the military wasn't giving the troops the best weaponry. We ended up pming each other back in forth and it turned into a nice conversation.

I was very open to this forum when I first heard about it. That is why I didn't challenge it right away, but when Rocket leaves a message saying "all illegal" activity can be done in the section, I simply got a little skeptical about certain things. Honestly, if porn arises it isn't a big deal because if the under age kids want to find it, they will. You cleared the racism issue up and I feel better about that.

I was simply a little worried that if certain things were in this section, whether private or not, they could potentially have posed a negative view of the forum (and that was the only thing out of it all I was worried about, haha.) However, as I have talked and argued a bit with you guys, I do in fact realize some great benefits to this section. The one is it keeps the rest of the forum clean. The other is it apparently meant a lot to many people on this forum and it keeps them happy as well to have something they enjoy. I'm all for pleasing all parties, but sometimes that results in some butting of heads.

Good luck and I hope the section turns out to be a positive for the forum. I know there was more in putting together this section than meets the eye. I hope the other members, and I have no doubt that 99.9% of them will, can be trusted to make good judgment on what they post, whether it's a free for all section or not.

Sorry, when I read it his message I thought it said "I setup a no rules forum for people wishing to look at porn, talk about your ex girlfriends and all other illegal activity." I misread, and that is my fault. I should have looked closer and realized that before. I admit my mistake, and realize I had been wrong all along.

No, I never served in the military. I tried more than once to get in, but was declined because of my asthma. I slipped through the cracks once but was sent home during basic when it was discovered.

I do have family members and friends currently serving, and who have retired from service.

Can't deny the facts. Would I prefer a M16/M4 over an AK-47? Absolutely, any day. My bitterness towards the weapons is mainly because the military refused to upgrade them. The XM8 clearly would have made a great weapon and would have been a huge upgrade to the M16/M4. Granite the SCAR is available, but I feel the XM8 would have been way more beneficial. Those who were apart of testing the weapons, including select infantry, felt the same way I do, and share the same feelings I have towards the scrapping of the project.

Offroadfury, who is currently serving over there has also agreed with my statements.

I have never experienced a jam in my AR-15. It is a completely different circumstance because I can clean it on my own time, whenever I want, and the area around me is not a giant sandbox with dust storms.

By the way, I joined the section and have already made a post. I looked at some of the others and it doesn't seem bad at all. I took Iron's advice and I gave it a shot.

I did see that you did join the group and if you would have done that at the beginning then we may not have had a problem but all of this should have been posted there and not here.

I'm aware that things written in a posting can be misinterpreted by some one and taken out of context but before you make a statement you must try and understand what the message said. Reading comprehension is key.

The M16/M4 is the standard issue weapon of the US Government.
Depending on the MOS and or unit the GI is assigned to also determines the type of weapon issued. GI=Government Issue.
Implementing a new weapon system is very expensive and time consuming.
With the state of our economy and the deficit don't look for anything new or soon.
I left the military in 93 and at that time they were testing a new weapon system to replace the M16.
There are weapons that the government has in inventory that are issued to SF, SEAL, PJ etc, etc. depending on the mission or theater of operation.
I was Issued an M16 w/M203, M2, M60, 9mm replaced .45ACP, 90mm.
Try keeping all that clean.
Most soldier are only issued an M16 they can't or won't keep that clean that's and then fails or they use too much Break Free. In the desert the bolt needs to remain almost dry.
None of my weapons ever jammed or failed due lack of cleaning.
I was in a combat unit and I went into combat more than once, my M16 saved my ass and the others around me on several occasions.
So clean, clean, clean your weapon.....oh yeah, you have to clean the ammo too.

Big mistake in NOT controlling who will be allowed in this section...

Let's just say someone under 18 joins the group (you probably have a few 15/16 year olsd on this board), isn't it illegal for this age group to view PORN!!!
