    And I miss her already.

I'm going to miss ripping her in a straight line and hearing that supercharger whine. Though I'm not going to miss the loud exhaust, the problems, puting $70 in her every 3 days and the speeding tickets.

So I got the 08 on Saturday and today I just put in an HID kit and so far I'm really impressed with the car. Here's some pics.

Here was my GP this summer.

Just before I put the 3.4" pulley on.

    With the overpriced CAI

On Saturday at the dealer, dirty and striped down. I'm going to miss you.

Nope, I could only hope they did at the factory so they won't rust.

Part of it, though I used the bottom part of it as a PCM tray.

Do you still have the tubing and the part that is supposed to keep it blocked off from the engine bay heat? I dont care about the filter, I have one that should work.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the econobox in the next year or so when gas prices go way higher.

All you need is the underglows and a spoiler, then stage 2 is cutting the springs and an ebay intake Did it come with any stickers to put on, lol. J/K

lol, all I'm going to do to it besides HID's is put my subs and deck in it. And the wheels off the GP fit since the new Civics are 5 studs now. I figure they'll look good in the summer, I'll use the hybrid wheels for winter tires. But yeah, I'm not even puting in a K&N drop in filter lol. In 3 years I'll buy something nice, but for now I'll just use this box to get me around.

I'm glad I'm not the only Civic owner on here! I have the non-hybrid, though, but same color sedan. I drive around 80 miles a day to work and back so I really needed something with good mileage. So far I'm getting 35-37 on my mostly highway trip. I think you'll like it, once you get used to the lack of power , they really are built well and have good standard features, I've been pleased with ours so far.

Sorry gmboy, I have to totally agree with 8sec. I think you should have just kept the GP and got the family bicycles for milage. I'd rather have a crappy GP (not calling yours that!) than a Honda anyday. Don't you have a good friend nearby that you can talk to. He or she could get you going in the right path? We can have an intervention for you if we need to. This is serious stuff! J/K I hope it does good for you.

Sorry I over read your post, yeah I have the tube and the shield. But no base to bolt it too. If I were you I'd just buy some PVC like I did and do a FWI, you'll get more out of it than that overpriced warm air intake.

Mine's not the hybrid. I'm not sure if you get them in the states but I have the DX-G model. It's the plain gas 1.8L engine, it has power everything just it has the same rims as the hybrid and it has black door handles and mirrors. And I've kind of gotten used to the slowness sort of, I don't drive as fast as I used to. I haven't reved this thing past 4000 yet and I've found it has enough to get me around. Only thing I don't like is that it has zero torque so you have to shift more often and keep the rpms up above 2000 if you want to accelerate at all. I was going to get either a 3.5 Altima 5 spd or 6 spd Maxima, you didn't even need to give it any gas to make it start moving with out the engine feeling like it's going to stall lol.
