Okay so the other day i took my friend and I on a long straight away too c how fast i could get it and I only could top it at 132mph and that's all i could go it didn't wanna go no more. I have on cheap a$$ tires now and 16inch steel rims. Could the low speed rating tires have anything to do with me not going any faster ? I use to go over 140mph Oh and when ever i do go over 100 sumthing my check engine soon light pops on then after a few days of driving normal it will go away. The light blinked on and off then stayed on after i was going 132 then started to slow down. Dam i need those 1.9 mod rockers. I guess i will hook up my tech 2 and see whats going on.

hmm, i guess i need to check my plugs. Now i did use my schools new scanner and i went wot up till about 90mph and the most kr i get is 4* Now the reason for going that fast is unkown.

well if its misfiring up top, and youre still in it you are asking for trouble, sooner or later the motor will blow. 4* of KR is a lot and you need a tune. if i was you i would put the 3.8 pulley back on, that 3.4 is not doing anything for you, especially with that garbage ZZP pcm

Tire rating won't slow you down. The tire rating tells you the max speed the tires can sustain for a brief period. If they're cheap tires you're probably going to overheat them and get a blowout. A blowout at that speed would not be good news for you.

Yeah i figure that wasn't safe. I did 125mph on a donut tire last week. Not smart

Yeaah i got enough supporting mods for a 3.4 pulley to stay. But i do need to send my pcm to tdc and i'm saving up for some 1.9 mod rockers.

something is messing you up. i can just about that with stock pulley and tune. stock it saw almost 140. after the headers it kinda slowed it down a bit.

but after last time of doing high speed runs and on the second burst of high speed it was slowing down pretty fast while i was still in it (guess KR) so im not doing that anymore. deff not with out a scan gauge hooked up. but theres other things that could go wrong also (oiling issuies)

Having tires blow at any speed is not fun. I had a set of bad tires that popped three times on me. Caused some body damage and is louder than you could imagine.
