I wanted to stop in and let everyone know I was still alive and apologize for my extended absence.
We had a death in the family and the weeks leading up to that and since have been more or less touch and go and Ive not had much time to spend here and more or less little motivation to try and stay on top of things here. My priorities have been refocused a little as well to deal with the situation following the family death.
As well, on the brighter side of things, Im just a few hundred dollars from being completely debt free and that is freeing me up to do several things not the least of which is being able to do a bit more for my church, and also getting things together to put the GP back together which should start probably in a couple of weeks. I hope to have it ready by the time Branson gets here but Im playing that one by ear right now.
In addition we are starting forward on buying a house and if all goes as I have planned and projected, I'll have that paid off in 10 years or less but will be the only debt that I have. Interest rates are just too low and with the $8k first time buyer tax credit from the stimulus package its just too good to pass up right now
I probably wont be on the site as much as I used to be as I really want to focus more on things I have not been able to due to financial restrictions. I have missed greatly being able to help people out and use my tallents in the church simply because I was not able to financially back things I wanted to do and now that I can I plan on spending more time doing so. We'll see how all that goes and what time I have to spend on here.
I know several of you have PM'd me during my absence and quite frankly and with all due respect Im not even going to try and catch up on the PM's so if you sent me something and it needs attention or was important, please resend your PM and I'll do what I can.
At any rate, I just wanted to let everyone know I was still kicking. A few of you contacted me off-board to see if everything was okay while all this was going on and I wanted to say thank you for doing so.
