The first car I was given was an '84 Pontiac 6000. The first car I ever bought myself was a brand new '97 Grand Prix GT Coupe. Once I got a family I went SUV's. I found this '08 Grand Prix GXP and am dealing and coming close to getting back into a Pontiac. E. IA Winters suck but I think I'll be fine.
Any thoughts, comments on the '08 PGP GXP? Only thing this thing is missing is a place to plug in my iPod...

Its a great car! V8, front wheel drive (only cause it is better in the winter weather) a lot roomier than the old GPs and even the baseline 04+ GPs (at least I think it has more interior room). I am sure there is an aftermarket kit you can get to hook up your iPod. Just cant think of it off the top of my head.

Be sure to post up some pictures of it when you get it! Good luck!

Yea, I'm 99% sure I'll be bringing it home tomorrow and I can't wait. It does seem pretty roomy, I've got two kids, 5 and 10 and I think they'll be more comfy in there than in my current 00 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The front wheel drive and traction control is a must in IA.

I'm sure i'll find something for my ipod but if anyone thinks of something cheap and easy but effective, let me know!!!

I can tell you from personal experience, that it's a great car. We didn't get a whole lot of snow here near Philly this year, but the GXP handled what we did get with no problem.

And after seeing pictures of how well they hold up in accidents, even very extreme ones, I feel perfectly comfortable putting my family in it too.
    This one has a V8.
Why not just make a V6 faster?

Yup, I am the proud owner of an 08 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP!!! Although, I've already had to replace the HUD fuse, hope it's not a sign

I'm stoked to be driving it around, can't wait for it to warm up enough to wax.

Looking forward to chattin' with all of you!!
