I finally took off my nice little chrom oil breather cap the other day and i put on my stock one. Well i gota say that it defently made a difference. It defently feels like it has more power and it feels quicker :-) Soo Watch out for this! You can buy them on zzp and pfyc. If you buy one only put it on at a car show or something cause it defently kills the power.
SLP headers, Wizaird cai, zzp1.0pcm ,slp powerflo catback, 3.4mps, NGK TR55's, 180*, zzp stage 1 hv tb,tb spacer, tb heatshield, Triple Edge Performance High performance Tranny, flipped motor mounts, spring blockers, prj 10.4mm wires, Sloted rotors & Ceramic brake pads,Alternator Voltage Booster. zzp 1.9 rockers & 105# springs

sort of the equivalent of a vacuum leak. I know those were for people with IC that lost there PCV function. Glad you let others know to avoid them unless there is no other way to make the PCV work.

I have an intercooler, but mine is the modified version that allows the PCV to work, yet I still have a breather as well. I honestly haven't felt any power loss. Maybe when the track re-opens around here I can test it.

does anyone make a billet valvecover cap to replace the nasty stock looking cap? I would hate to put the ugly black plastic cap on ZZP's aluminum valve covers.
Yeah its a grand prix, so what, wanna fight about it.

That is called the factory speed limiter.

    99 GTP = 12.936 @ 112.12 2.16 60'
    06 TBSS = STOCK
    07 GXP = STOCK - ordering SSC's

no it isnt, its limited to 126 not 118, this is the first time it happend. it defently wasnt cutting off the speed, the rpms were just going back and fourth for some wierd reason but she was still climbing. It started to do it at 118.

I bought one of the valve cover breathers for my car before I was aware of the issues it caused, but loved the way it looked. I decided to take the filter of and plug the small hole on the bottom with some epoxy to prevent air flow and it works great and and keeps the look of the breather. If I ever wanted to make the breather funtional again I could very easily dig out the epoxy with no damage. Just a thought for you if you wanted to continue running it.

Thanks, I figured I already bought it and liked the way it looked so I came up with an idea to make it useable.
