There is no way those won't blow out. With headers, N*, XP, ported LIM, Trannyman ported blower and a 3.25 pulley, I've got to be moving emough air to blow those out. I know Brisk told me not to run the LGS, but I figured what the heck. After seeing how far down the spark will be in the CC, the huge gap and unprotected spark, I just can't bring myself to put them in.:eek:

When it comes to things like this it is like saying this wax is better then this wax and you should only use this tire shine because of the results i get useing this one... Choice is what it boils down to.
Took me 8 months to try them out, and like i said i am glad i did.
As for blow out i have not had any problem in fact seems to be alot better
running under woot...
Now the reason i am writing this is because you said i said to get the
Brisk GOR15LGS... Please go back a few post and read..

I like the Autolite plugs also and have used the TR6's but like i said i used them under the wrong
mods so could not give them a good rating...

I want some of those LGS plugs. I hate to put the money out for them, but Im just going to have to break down and get some.
I have a brand new set here for cheaper than you can get anywhere else. Bayareagtp nor Trannyman hasn't said they wanted them yet.Quote:

I wished I understood everything the guys at Brisk were talking about when telling me why NOT to get the LGS plugs, but I'm sure I would not get the whole thing straight. As a side note the plug they recommended for my car was a G14YS, which is not a resistor plug. I asked if I could run the GR14S, which they comfirmed would work too. After seeing them I understand again why they went with the G14YS instead of the GR14S. Distance the electron projects in to the CC.
The LGS series goes way down in the CC, the GR14S barely soen in to the CC, and the recommended plug is somewhere between those two.
Well I dont want to step on anyones toes, so if neither of them step up and takes the plugs, hit me up.
One got the Silver Racing and the other passed on the LGS. Soooo the LGS are all yours.Quote:

It says he has tested them, and I'd trust Will when it comes to spark plugs in L67 engines. From the site:
"In our own testing, we've found a reduction in KR, increases in gas mileage and smoother engine idle and off-idle acceleration. They are required to have a top-performing ignition system, so we recommend new plug wires with every install, check your coil terminals for corrosion, and if you have low system voltage you should perform our alternator rewire upgrade. These plugs, due to materials used, may require replacing more often than OEM plugs but should be similar to copper plug lifespan. We also recommend these be run at no higher than 12psi boost."
It's funny that Brisk doesn't have as much faith in them as Will does. However, it's good to know that he has tested them and can confirm they are good to 12 psi. Hopefully Scotty finds them as good as John did. I'm right at 12 psi so they would be a no go for me. Dang just looked at the website. The Canadian exchange rate must be a lot different than the US dollar.:DQuote:

I've found its better to run a colder heat range than normal with these plugs. I've seen them run on boost over 12 but 12 seems a prudent cutoff point. I wouldn't use them on turbo or nitrous. By comparison, naturally aspirated customer of mine took a sh*t, loved em.
Will, I would be very interested in your insights and experiences with the M112. Im going to get the set from Lee and stick them in my car and see what comes of it cause Im just way too curious.
