umm i didn't understand anything you said in the original message but yeah that would be your inner tie rod. You might as well replace it, bending it back isn't the best solution, it will never be perfectly straight. Go to rockauto.com and get a new acdelco inner tie rods, on another note you might as well do both inner tie rods and new tie rod ends(get Moogs, all the others are garbage). The job is fairly straight foward, its not the end of the world...just did mine and my car handles like a brand new car, no slop.

dude they are cheaper than you think, $34 each inner tie rods, about $50 each for the outers. Imo don't just get new inner and try to use the old outer, they are old and impossible to get off, i had to cut mine with a hack saw. If you have questions on installing them let me know, since i just did mine a few days ago.

    RockAuto Parts Catalog

    ^inner

    ^outer

they make these parts to "give" such as an accident of some sort, so you don't bend something really expensive such as your rack&pinion

probably but really i wouldn't buy those dude. From experience i first got cheap tie rod ends and the boots broke when i was putting them in. Moogs and acdelco ftw guaranteed to fit right.

you have to clam down dude, everyone has troubles life is a *****. To be honest I don't believe there is such a thing as bad luck. Take advantage of your opportunities, get a good job and make money. Bad **** only happens when your not prepared, if your prepared for it then its not really so bad. Some things you cant Totally prepare for, but car accidents? Why have a car if you cant afford to fix it when something happens? I am in college too dude and I am just trying to let you know to be positive. I read a book that I feel really made me think, read it if u have time. Brian Tracy-science of self-confidence. I know you can d/l it for free from warez-bb.org \
    Good luck
