glad it was a simple fix!
idc right now about performance she lives to see another day =] lol but yeah i wanna do more exhaust work and a colder thermo and s/c pulley next =]
my goal is i wanna get a 13.4 ish very possible correcT?
mhm im thinkin a 180 thermo more exhaust work and a smaller pulley you think thatll work?? i wanna make it to the track before june =] i gotta beat my dads buddies 86 mustang convert 5.0 a little built up we will see haha
Bfore you start dropping pulleys, go headers, down pipe(catted or non), air intake, some autolite 104 plugs, 180 t-stat, and a good tune. Then you should be able to drop to a 3.4 pulley. Throw in a cam and I don't see why you won't be at your 13.4. Just make sure you have all your supporting mods for the pulley before you put it on. Remember, KR is not your friend. Not good for the motor and for every degree of KR you'll lose 2hp.
Well the Racetronics pump is a much better pump at a much better price. Around 160. I'd return that one and say that is was broken and get you're money back. 300 is crazy.
^^^ X2 especially considering how easy it is to change the pump.
3.4 pulley, tune, exhaust, intake will net you a 14.0-14.3. add 1.9rr on there and you are good for a 13.7ish.
