Such a beautiful car.
ive alwayss liked those !
Its a gorgeous car and I love the GNX's but, to pay that much and then have it just sit most of the time, and wipe it with a diaper IMO not worth the money...rather get a brand new GT3 and drive it like its meant to be driven.
I think I've seen that car on there before or in an old issue of car craft. I dont think the car could ever be a driver. If anything, store it for a few more decades and use it to repo parts. Next 55-57' Belair?
From experience with my 76' T/A that sometimes you Have to drive 'em to keep them from rotting. Sucks but cars were made to be driven. I do know the 89' Indy t/a pontiac has in their collection didnt run right the last time it was used in a comparo against the 4th gen cars.

they might have more luck at the barrett jackson auction
I showed that to a coworker that restores cars and he said that he restored his 87 monte for about 50k (was a dd for years) and he is the only owner of the car. If you take a junker and restore it, it could cost you about 100k if you include your time. The cost is not far off at all
Very nice car. Yes it has been for sale on Ebay for some time and the Barrett Auction would be a better venue but they will want a premium for their commission. Fortunately it will continue to be a true legend even if it is never driven. As long as they continue to start it every so often it will run well but the suspension will need some major work due to inactivity and the tires and spare will all have to be replaced. Still a little pricey. I still dont understand why some major collector hasnt bought it.
so will it drop 1/3rd in value once its driven off of the lot?
I'm sorry did you say something? I was too busy drooling
