Can't make up my mind on a car, and I am able to get one this weekend if I could just make up my mind. Its between a black 00 gtp or a black 06 gtp. I like the looks of the older ones but the newer interiors are more comfortable, at least the seats are. Please persuade me to which one I should buy.

I would get the 02 and swap in some of the 04+ seats. With the money you have saved.

They dont make a tuner for a 06! You can use the 05 ECM....but believe me I would have gotten a 03 or under if I didnt know you couldnt tune the 06+. I would get the 02

Sorry its a 00, but its fully loaded and it would be much cheaper too. I was thinking of the gxp seats, how much would they roughly cost for the whole set. Are both seats power and heated up front?

Just called the dealer today to talk about buying it, well it just got sold yesterday. This is ridiculous!! Every car I look at gets bought. I either can't get a hold of the person or by the time I find the car and call about it, its gone. This is the fourth car I tried getting.

Ya I guess not, but this was also for a few jeeps too and a buick regal also. I'm also thinking that maybe I should keep my car and just fix it up. The big problem is the front end and the amount for body damage and paint. Anybody know of somebody who does good body work and paint for cheap? I figure if I was going to spend 5-6k on a car anyways, well I could get a new tranny that is built and maybe buy a turbo kit with some mods and call it good. Also going to need new struts, brakes and other things. Really not sure what to do.

cheap body work and paint? look into an auto body class at a local college. they do cheap work and usually it is pretty good because they have the professor watching over them to do it right.

I went too my friends body shop and the guy was going to give me a deal and it would still have been about 1500. Yeah, buying a new gtp than I can mod it, be able to have a sunroof, hud, hd tranny..probably my best bet. Should I get a higher miles gtp though, maybe around 100k or a little more, if I'm going to mod it than lots of things are going to be replaced...just worried more about the tranny though. Spend less on the car and more on mods.
