Tomorrow I'm going to try to seal the deal on this thing! It's a 00 ssei, it's got 220k and been owned by current owner since almost new, he said the car needs tires and rear air shocks, otherwise swears it runs and drives with no issues. I figured I could bring it back up to tip top with maintenance then yank my intake and plog off my 01 gt along with my rockers and have a pretty fun ssei that would be pretty close to being ready for a pulley drop. Let me know what you guys think, he claims to be firm at a minimum of 600 but we all know cash talks. https://mankato.craigslist.org/cto/5974006063.html

I've always like the 2 white ones that posted here a lot
or maybe it was cgp. Someone might know them-one had the huge sky jacker shocks for the track? The other was turbo ?
Not a bad deal. Lucky for the plastic body cladding , it can hide rust well unlike under the gas door. Even if there was more , can't go wrong for under $600
    good luck !!

Well you can see it's rotting under the gas door in the pictures so I'm prepared for that, I have owned a couple Bonneville se's over the years and it seems the gas door and hood are the most common areas. I was going to replace shocks with some aftermarket air shocks if I get it. I guess we will see where negotiating goes tomorrow, I would be stoked to get it for 500, don't know if I wanna pay 6, this money could go for more mods on my gt, but then again this Bonneville has the potential to make real power and my l36 will never be fun without boost

Ssei had rear leveling air from the factory. And it's 2003SSEi you are probably thinking about.

Plus they came with 2.5 exhaust
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Had to pass on the car, not only did the tc hunt around just like my gt did before it went boom, the rear shock where so toast it rubbed over everything that even resembled a bump. Granted it's a 600 car, I can't afford to drive home another car that's just going to sit beside the garage. I got another 01 gt that's been sitting with a spun bearing for almost a year now, and I got a 99 Bonneville that has a rusted subframe and I have had these ideas of swapping the Bonneville motor to the gt and have a winter car, hmm winters almost over and I haven't done crap lol oh well, I wish it had been in better shape, I would have been OK with the suspension if the trans wasn't on its way out.

You live in MN, you still got some winter left brotha!
Sucks that the car was in such poor shape... but then who needs another over-sized paperweight.
