You mean the gas cap? If so, just go buy a new cap and see if that makes the light go away.

I would have the code read before spending any money in case it's not an evap code.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

^^what he said. Any local auto parts store will read your codes, if you are friends with them they may clear them to see if they come back.

Or just buy the 14 dollar scan tool I have and it'll pay for itself trust me. And it deletes codes too

http://www.amazon.com/Excelvan-Diagn...284950&sr=1-12 i picked one of these cheap readers cause i got tired of going to the parts store to get a code read, then they wont clear it, so its paid for its self over and over already.

Also don't get it off eBay. Get it off amazon. I avoid eBay like a plague because I purchased the scan tool for 12 shipped and it never came and it was a hassle getting my
    Money back

If you have an Android phone you could pickup OBII bluetooth adapter and the Torque app. Read/clears codes and also reads bunch of info about the car like temps, vac, volts ect.

Well if it is an 04+ it will also say "CHECK GAS CAP" on the DIC if it isn't another evap code.

Beware that the part number is different between 04 and 05 so universal 04-08 may not fit properly on your 05. I broke my factory cap and got an "04-current" cap that fit but was slightly smaller so it wouldn't click when tightening it. Within a day my DIC would say "Check gas cap" after a few minutes of running. Bought an 05 specific cap off the same brand and it stopped saying that.
