Thread: NYMCGP Mod Day - Sunday, April 13th

If you are modding I would say the day starts at 10am. Around 1pm - 2pm, we'll all chip in for pizza, soda and etc. Sorry, I don't feel like BBQing

No major mods please. We should be able to enjoy the day without having to spend a lot of time on one car.

If you plan on modding, please bring the tools you need. I will let my tools be used but if a bunch of us are modding, no one is standing around waiting for tools.

I have a car lift.

Define major mods. Haha. Are rockers or lower motor mounts too major?

I think if it's just rockers then it might not be a problem. If your also changing springs and etc then too big.

Lower mounts might be ok. Having the lift should help.

I definitely want to take advantage of the lift while I'm there.

Would you have any means of lifting or supporting the engine while on the lift?

You would support the engine by supporting the trans with a Jack and blocks

We could try. So far three guys need the lift. Lol

where a lift is nice, its not really needed for mounts, or lca's.

with i had some parts to install. id spend the 35 bucks in tolls to get to the island and back lol

All my mods exceed the minor designation... Lolz!

But may come down if no work, maybe I'll just wipe her down and shine it up a lil'... Could hang for a beverage and bite, watching other people work on their car for a change!

Yeah I can do that with the PowerTuner

Awesome, the special editions gonna look alittle different since you saw it last, I got her all smoothed out and painted. Came out nice
