Why would you want clear valve covers? They are the prolly better then the 2 piece covers.

that was the purpose of the 2 piece covers, The top seal leaked all the time.

Come to think of it those clears have been around for a long time, I didnt get em because they will never stay clean.

Seriously I thought about this idea a long time ago. Still far from the first to think about im sure but anyways I thought up of the valve cover idea and also a rearend cover idea. The only problem i came up with is the visability thing and maybe the plastic getting stained.

you could always do the sand, polish, high temp paint (clear). then you could put logos into them as well. I think that would be the chit if you had a full roller setup, and clean heads.

I saw these on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Pretty cool, but keeping them clean would be my concern as well. You could always just not put any oil in it. LOL!

I thought brain storming was how unique stuff is made, and then made main stream.

I think they would be cool.

Wondered about the rear diff. covers that were see through I have seen before how they hold up to the oil on them, and if it stains the plastic. IIRC, the rear covers were machined from bullet proof glass.
