Not all of us, but were no Chicago or KC for that matter. Sounds good Jason I would be interested in meeting the famous G8racing.

Well the event were going up for her Grandpa's 80th birthday party. Were driving for two days total, with one day for the party. Its in the afternoon I guess, and is only going to last an hour or so. We might have some time to kill thats why I asked. Her parents both grew up there, so I think they want to take us sight seeing to show us where they grew up. If not...were going to be pretty bored sitting in the hotel.

I guess were going through Des Moines, and the party and what not, is going to be in Fort Dodge. That might change some things for you. Looks like Fort Dodge is about an hour or so away from Des Moines.

    LOL

I have gone to Rockford, IL for several years in a row to to to a BMX national there when I was racing. We would go through Des Moines, and they were far from slow drivers every time I went through there. It was kinda like Texas, no turn signals, and they are all running 10-15 over. I think the main interstate through there was like 70 MPH and we were going 85 and still getting passed and my butt ridden.

My impression after going through Iowa all those times was damn, these people cannot drive. LOL When ever I see an Iowa driver in Kansas, I don't cut them a inch of slack on the road. Ya, payback LOL.

Other than that, when we were going through Iowa, it was balls to the wall to get in, and out of that state A.S.A.P..

Well I live in Ankeny which is on the northern edge of Des Moines. You will be heading up interstate 35 to Fort Dodge, that is about 5 mins from my house. Your all welcome to stop in. PM me with the dates, and I'll see what the schedule is.

You know...I'm glad I live in Kansas.

Fort Dodge was cold as hell this past weekend. -6* at night? Ya...screw that. LOL

On our way up we watched the temperature drop, and on our way home we watched it rise. By the time we got home, we were wearing t-shirts and loving life!

One good thing about Iowa...you don't have the wind we do in Kansas. Nothing worse than the cold air being blasted in your face.

Sorry we couldn't get together...it was a short, but busy filled trip, with not a lot of time for extra stuff.
