Hey guys - I'm pretty much a complete newb to these cars, and wanted to see if anyone could help me do a few things. The main problem is I don't have the experience or the tools.

I would like to install MSD spark plug wires, Autolite 605 plugs, 180* thermo, and a new fuel filter.

Obviously I'll be willing to pay money - I'm thinking like $15-20 an hour, or just a lump sum payment for help with the job.

I feel that if I can have somebody go through it with me the first time, then I will know what I'm doing in the future. I'm located in Brookfield and Whitewater area in Wisconsin... so hopefully you'd be within about an hour drive.

Let me know if you can help! I'd really appreciate it!

those are possibly the easiest things you can do. id suggest just having a friend or someone who knows a little about cars to help you out and do a little learning for yourself. the fuel filter may be a biatch if its rusty, but shouldnt be too bad.

im in menomonee falls (slightly northwest of milwaukee) if you really need help.

Wow - I'm in Brookfield..... right near Lisbon and Lilly Road.

I will pay you to help me out and kind of walk me through so I know the next time. Let me know if you're up for it, I'd truly appreciate it.

I'd ask my dad, but he's always working and said to just take it to the dealership.... not too much help.

The time has come again.... my front sway bar has cracked at the tab on the end. I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade to the GMPP front sway bar (should I do the rear as well?) - but I've heard its kind of difficult and would like someone in the area to do it and I could learn.

Any takers? I don't mind driving up to an hour... otherwise does anyone know any reputable shops in the waukesha county area that I could trust?

    Thanks.

sway bar should take half hour. hour and a half if you dont just take a couple more pieces off and try to wiggle it out with everything still together.

rear is about the same, little easier.

    id do both.

Nick - I think i'd like you to drive it first tho and listen to the sound to see if that is even the problem... so I can get an expert opinion, then go from there. You're home on weekends?
