I just got my MPS in the mail and I was wondering if there is anyone in the area who would be willing to help me out. I live in the northwest burbs. Thanks in advance.

I am in prospect hts. Modular. Pulley. System.
I cant get to it tonight because my wood-work is in the way, when I get out of work tomorrow early afternoon ill get to my old big box and see what pulley pullers/gear pullers I got, what pulleys are you removing, like their diameter..
I need to remove the factory 3.8 inch pulley. I will also need to press on the new modular hub.
Anyone?
Pressing im not sure of, ive only used a 2x4 and rubber mallet to press balancers and pulleys on before.
I do not have any pulley pullers here, I found one but its missing 2 of the arms ( which is a whole other war in itself)
Alright I appreciate you looking anyway.
Autozone rents them.
they are pretty decent tools too for rentals.
or run to harbor freight spend a few bucks and use the tool a few times, pays for itself in one use really.
you are north of me by northbrook. i have zzp pulley tool. the piece i'm missing is the M8 stud. i let local member used the tools and he stripped the F**k out of it. if you buy the M8 stud from zzp they only cost $4 for 2 i'll let you use the tool. here's pic of the piece you need.

Done! I will get them if you will help me out. That would be awesome. Is there any place I can get them around town? How long do they need to be? Are they just M8 threaded rods? If so I am sure I would be able to find them around here. If you can pm me a number so we can talk about it that would be great.

That is not a bad deal at all. But I am the kind of guy who likes to do everything myself. Or at least almost everything.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a hand tomorrow. The last part I needed for my intercooler to be installed is shipping out today so I wanted to get this pulley done asap.
You should be able to come up with what you need at a hardware store. A few studs and some couplers looks like it'd do the trick. Zimmermanns True Value at Dundee and BG road has metric couplers. Otherwise how'd the installs go? I'm in Wheeling and about to start installing mine tonight. Any tips before I start?
