Ok i got her fixed and now its time to sell it! Its a 95 grand prix gtp with full JL auido system and supertrapp exhaust.For pics and a little bio on the car see it on criagslist at 1995 Grand Prix GTP/JL sound system.trade for r6

Ok today i found whats causing the problem.On that circuit for the dash(fuse 39) is about 6 or 7 other various relays and switches.using a power probe tool i was able to trace down the short in the wire harness under the dash with ease.if your having a wiring issue seek out someone with these things it saves SO much time.anyway the tool led me to the brake pedal bracket where the brake light switch is located.just above the brake switch is another,two pronged switch that looks like most brake switchs but ive confirmed thats not what it does by unplugging and the brake lamps still work.I dont notice anything different while driving with it unplugged,does anyone know what it may be for?

The dash unit in my 95 grand prix gtp keeps popping fuses. ive disconnected the windsheild display to see if that was the issue.nope still blows them.only seems to do it when the cars moving and when it blows it acts like the charging system isnt working and the trans starts in second?not sure on the gear but its deffeintly sluggish when it pops.any ideas anyone?
