I would have to get the wife's approval, and she would probably say no if it had much damage
I'm just curious enough to stop in and have a look if I catch them open or see it outside. My friend lady with the Yukon XL used to get a new Z-28 every other year for a long time but has had the suburban too long now. I have half a mind to talk her into it. But I need to eyeball it, hmm. He would want at least three grand from me and I don't think he would trade me ha ha. Patience, we shall see.
I bet she would love a new z28 now
Dang skippy! It would be too tough to get in and out of for her though. She adores the Yukon because its so recliner-esque lol. Come to think of it she had a recent broken hip, so a car might be a hard sell at this point. Disabled. But any GTP or Z-28 would smoke the gas and tires bill of her big rig and be more fun.
whos this skippy your talking about lol kidding
dang, that sucks. my wife and I are friends with an older couple, both should be retired and living the good life, but bad financial choices and the recession of 2009 took any opportunity of retirement away, the old man raced corvettes on the drag strip in Vegas for a long time, and now doesn't even own a car because they are too hard for them to get in and out of. He does have a ~2006 Trailblazer SS, still stock. He and I went to the 1/8th mile a couple years back, and that thing is slow. I beat it by almost 1 second on every race. I bet it is still fun to drive.
Yep if I had to have an SUV that might be the one. That recession you mentioned killed what was left of opportunity to prosper. Dad and I discussed the state of affairs Friday and he is scared for everyone's future. He worked at IBM from 1960-95 and job benefits were free and competitive as the country restocked itself with men after WWII. Times are changing and it does hurt to be old. Myself, I'll need to die soon after my last work day because retirement is no longer an option. At least I can still get in and out of a GP without too many old man sounds.
Ha. I want to slap that little Skippy character now. Smack dat queer smile off his face lol.
Stopped by to look at the black Pontiac previously mentioned. She's rough, boys. Probably good transportation but obviously somebody didn't give a crap at some point. Both the bodywork spots it needs are worst-case location repair scenarios. Not terribly severe mind you, but still... meh, sedan GTP... didn't even open the door. Big boy next to me on the door cleaned 'er up today he said. Complained about not having any black wax.
Oh yeah and my boss is going to pick up that wrecked Yukon XL of my friend's. Me fix, insurance pay. Just like the old days. Might tear it down tomorrow for the adjuster if theres time.

Wheels look in great shape!
I see what you mean. Those spots suck
Way to keep it positive! I'm a bodyman and don't approve of the dents for the price lol. It needs a lot of work to be at full insurance value. If you bought that and somebody ran into you, you'd be raped by that prior damage as far as the vehicle's value. Instant total.
Who's your partner in crime with ya there in pic #2 ;)?
I bet it looks real nice as long as you don't see the bad spots
looks like some moe was trying to break into it and dented the roof up.
Wife said it looked nice until she saw the body damage
