This all happened an hour from home, too. Luckily I was 10 minutes from my girlfriend's house, so I wasn't stuck in a state trooper's car until I got a ride home

i had a 97 looked just like it, minus all the dents and missing parts. only mine was a 3500 and a 4x4. still a tank.

The ratchet strap & zip ties should have been holding the rear axel in place!!!

Going to the towing place to get my plates and whatnot from the truck after work today, so chances are I'll have some clear daylight pics of the carnage. Poor truck has been through hell and back

Truck carnage was worse than pics showed, frame was a V and the windshield pillar was smashed in about 2" along with the roof. As for the crappy door pic... here's a better one, before I wrote off the title.
Car is still doing good, no updates on it really.

Got hit 3 weeks ago. My left axle is held on by the brake line and tie rod.

Figured I'd drive it for a bit, make sure it wasn't gonna try to kill me within a week too.

    Meet the new truck.

1999 K3500, 127k on the body, 12k on a fresh Vortec 454 with a mild cam and the 4L80E with a shift kit. 4.10 gears, just about every option available for the year.
