now just need to lean out that 7,000 up hertz to show mid 12's, then let the meth flow.
boost line is at least flat now. looks pretty good.
the o2 sensor, change that to show MV. volts aint showing you what you need to see on that one.

What's the reason for high AFR? I don't like running that high. Or you mean just before I turn the meth on? Yeah, it drops a little over a 1 AFR with this nozzle. 0.850v is same as 850mv. Works for me. But I do need to spend some time cleaning up the scanner.
you lean it out to 12's then spray the meth, should bring the afr to mid 11's. if you need to tweak the maf some more do it spraying from that point out.
why i say to lower the timing when leaning it out. that way it cant really knock on ya when your wot lean. once the afr is set up good, bring the timing back up.
I just copied from 7000hz up on an older meth tune, ran and flashed it twice and got pretty dialed.

It looks solid now. But the boost does slowly drop, about 1/2 lb through the pull. Might just be a side effect of wmi. Because it's a progressive controller, and the boost drops as the meth ramps in. Dunno, i ain't no scientist. But It's good enough for me now. So now I have two good tunes, one without meth, one with. I'll try them both out at the track....for science. Need to get a leaky axle swapped. Have had it, but too friggin hot right now for me.
13.7 @ 103. Couldn't even beat my time last year before the cam. I'm sure the weather didn't help. Friggin hot. What kinda stinks is my mph didn't improve. But i'm lucky I left when i did after 4 runs. It kept getting leaner with every run, even though I was adding fuel. I'm guessing that's just heat soak, but I added a lot of fuel up top. And 1st gear was super lean, like...I don't want to say because I shouldn't have stayed in it, lol. But no knock. Anyways...now I want to be faster and cooler. So I bought a N* tb and maf today. Looking for Gen V and considering an intercooler.
damn, thats where i was with my mods in my sig, but the gen 3 and a 2.8 pulley.

Almost pulled the trigger on this thing today. I was about to sign the paperwork and backed out. Just not quite right. Still hunting for a n54/55.
She was very quick. Had a lot of mods and tune. 6 speed. I am gonna think about it over the weekend. Might change my mind. Dunno.
I passed on the 6 speed. Picked up an 8 speed instead. Couldn't be happier. I've never really been a BMW guy. I've always loved their interiors (I repair automotive interiors for a living) but never imagined owning one. Until I drove that 335i a month ago. Knew I had to have one. I got a great deal on this one and she is a cream puff. California car until last fall and everything done maintenance wise. Valve cover, oil filter housing and oil pan. So she won't be leaking in my drive for a bit. These cars are very tunable. Sooo many ways to tinker with this.

I'm keeping the Imp for now. Still need to swap the genV. Just need to send snout out to be milled and modular hub installed. Thinking I'm gonna steal the wmi kit and install on the 335. It can go much further on that one.
that is a sweet looking car, i'm excited for you. details on engine?
Thanks man. It's the N55 with a single twin scroll turbo. 300hp 300tq. 8-speed steptronic tranny with paddle shifters. It's a little torque monster. That's what sold me. I love the feel of a supercharged car and didn't think I'd want a turbo until I drove one of these. Boost comes on and stays on. The torque on this is pretty flat from like 1300-5500. No lag really at all. Best part is more power is pretty easy. Catless downpipe, intercooler and charge pipe with a tune and your 350-380 to the wheels depending on fuel. Relatively inexpensive. I think some have hit 400whp with those mods.
I've got a mechanic who knows all the ins and outs of these cars, gonna have him look everything over before I go throwing mods at it. It's a steeper learning curve because this is my first direct injected or turbo'd car so having a keen eye on things will be a big head start. But it's fun to be learning a new platform.
Fuel hose is leaking, think I didn't get ptfe hose when I repaired it. Leaks at the an fittings. Battery is dead dead, think I've got a draw on it, need to trace it down. And there is a pile of rust under it that has fallen off. LoL, she's a mess. But I'm gonna fix it up and give her a last good thrashing before I sell it. The bimmer has my heart now, hate to say. Just finished installing a bigger turbo and had it remote tuned. She's a certified ripper. If it wasn't for the copious amounts of rust accumulating under the car I'd consider putting a turbo on it. But think it's time to part ways, especially since the market is seller friendly.
