I must have a 99+ then because the alt bracket is the double elbow type. I have aluminum style elbows ready to go..
If I put a 99 alt on my car it will plug in with my 97 wiring right?

i think you need to swap the plug. not 100% sure tho.
Before and after on the lim plus the 1.9's. it amazes me how nasty those things get.. Also amazes me that 11 ftlbs is enough to hold them tight.
I only dropped 2 valves into the cylinders lol good times therehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d8899f5392.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ca69ddbfd5.jpg

**** you were right there, slip a cam in!
I'm not going to do that at this time.. It's easy to get it to the point you see it at..
I've been looking for a tuner that wont break the bank..
Kinda like the one you gave away with the gtpt

haha woops!
good luck on that cheap tuner, just bother scotty
Idk if these issues are acceptable or not.
One is missing a piece and a few have cracks.
If not I have another set of stockers.
OOOR if anyone has a fair priced 42 pounders I'm interestedhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b8c432a3a6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8bfaac4650.jpg

Those dont matter one bit. Most if not all oems are like that.
Well it's back in action! Took it for a test drive and it ran good. No wot just a quick cruise.
2 things tho it's shifting pretty hard and before it was smooth and the speedo doesn't work on the hud or the guage.
Anyone have a suggestion or 2 about those?

Figured that one out.. I didn't plug in the speed sensor or the vacuum line that goes to the center nipple of the super charger.
now I can tell how fast I'm going and it shifts nice tho I dont know how either one of those two things impact shifting.

Getting some real work done here man. Good shyt.
That thing has gotta be a real ripper with all you've done to it. What size pulley are you running on it? 3.0?
I'm running a 3.2 right now kr free. I did notice when putting it on that my blower is milled tho muhahah.
Seriously tho I'm not doing anything else to it untill in can get my hands on a tuner.. also I want a turbo system..
I'll find one one day

Luke has it all, get him to blow the L67 up then turbo and tuner will be for sale LOL
True[emoji848] Stop telling him how to tune it then

Well I got the car flushed today (Scotty style). What a dirty mess due to the bad lim gaskets.
Got to take it out and flog it alil. Shifts nice and just alil blip of Kr in the higher rpms. Had a good time lol.

Blow up your blue baby? What chu talking about? If I blow up this engine, I'm gonna have to sit it out for a while. No more car work. So far she's still spoolin.
Wowitsfast - I thought the snout was milled. That's cool. Ready for a pulley drop.
Anyone out there to race a lil bit, when you're out there on there drives?
Oh ya there's tons of cars to race. Lots of Z cars TONS of Subarus lots camaros mustangs challengers chargers and the like.
Honestly unless it's a stock turd I don't stand a chance against any of them. In the playing around I've done I can get them in the short but by time I hit the middle of 2nd gear it's already over.
Most of the imports are turboed so they are just getting started it seems at 2nd gear.
I will say tho I do have pretty good traction I just don't mash it the 1st millisecond then I mash and it seems to work out

It's crazy how quick cars are these days. Even if they don't have "high hp" they have figured out gearing and 8 and 10 gear trans that can keep them in their powerband. My wife's SRT Durango is a prime example it's heavy as hell but it's very quick
3800 days it was 11's or bust, these days its 9's or go home.
