Recently picked up a 2004 Gixxer 750. Currently painted red. Looks okay. But its' got tons of ugly yellow accents.

Ripped all of the plastics off in preparation of new paint. Going a PPG color called Orange Glow. It's an orange sprayed over a silver so it's nice and bright.

I've also cut off the yellow grips and removed the yellow from sliders. Still have to pull off the yellow wheel tape though.
Will update as it goes along.

    And the sled.
1999 Arctic Cat ZL600 EFI. Nothing super fancy but it's fuel injected so I love it. Started second pull a couple days ago when it was right around 0* Not the fastest thing but it's got enough power to lift the ski's off the ground. It's also somewhat broke ATM. One of the bearings for a track idler came apart and the track doesn't keep tension and it slips on the driveshaft. Bearing are cheap. Replacing them is somewhat laborious though.

your best bet with that bike is to leave it as close to it is now and maintain it. i've never got the modding the hell out of a bike thing.

The bike will stay pretty much the way it is now. Just fresh paint and maintenance. Maybe some carbon fiber stuff, idk
The sled will stay completely stock probably. Just maintenance on that too

And its painted. Still needs wet sanded and buffed. Hasn't even been washed yet.

Ive ordered orange adjustable shorty levers, orange anodized and black rubber grips, carbon fiber mirrors, a carbon fiber tank pad along with some carbon fiber Suzuki and GSXR stickers. And some orange wheel tape. And I'm gonna have a local upholstery shop rewrap my seats with a carbon looking material and probably some orange stitching. He's also going to add in some gel and memory foam

Bike looks sharp in the orange.

Here's a pic from today before I put it away. I was riding around watching lightening for half an hour or so before I started getting sprinkled on.

Yes and yes. But if it doesn't sell for what I want I'll keep it. 5 dollars a week to drive to work is pretty nice lol
