Rust. Everywhere. The fenders the bed sides. The U joints the leaking rear diffs and most of all the worst trans ever

Edit. However if it's a 4.7 truck I would be less Leary about the trans.

Any vehicle you buy - someone will find a problem.

This truck runs & drives great - ive driven it, & needs minor work other than a facelift.

Best part of having a truck... everyone throws trash into your bed for you.

Check into a bed cover. I grabbed one of these in 02-03 and it's still in great shape

Ive never used a bed cover, even when I had a cap - didn't like that either.

& junk in box is what peeps were using for weight for traction.

Being from Texas, and owning 4x4 myself, I got to say that the most BS statement I ever heard for having crap/trash in the bed of your truck. Try sand bags, it would work a lot better and doesn’t bang up the bed of your truck. Better yet, sell that cute lil thing and buy a 4x4 if traction is an issue. Not trying to be a jerk here, I’m just saying….

I am not the one who put the stuff in the bed, previous owner, & in prior truck ive had, I do use sand bags, they're cheap, & if u need sand for some reason you have it.
I am also going to see if it has a limited slip or not, if not will put one in before next winter.
& I did not buy a 4x4 for 2 reasons - cost & any in my price range need too much work.

if that truck aint a 4x4, why did you buy it? 2 wd trucks are as worthless as tits on a bull in my world.

^ I kind of agree. One of the main reasons I would buy any truck in general, is for the 4x4.

To each their own I guess.

In the southern half of the US 4x4 is just extra equipment that rarely comes into play during normal use. Guys who can't throw a 2WD around with authority need to stay home when its nasty out. I have always just shoveled the driveway snow into the bed and that way it unloads itself as weather improves. Gotta have plenty air in tires though. Those Rams are alright but its a lot of steel if only one person rides in it. Not a bad choice IMO.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

I was looking for a car, SUV, Pickup, Since over the years ive owned almost every type of vehicle, & even with rwd in the past I have not too much problems with snow & ice, just have to know how to drive them.

& some or most of you know it doesn't matter what other think - I do my own thing.

truth about knowing how to drive it. but Canada man. id be all over a 4x4 if i lived there.

you guys down south its pointless to get a 4x4 unless you really off road your truck.
