one thing that get's me is that I gave zzp a 1 star review on Wednesday on that pulley, and the review still hasn't gone live. what do they do, filter out all the bad reviews?

I was bored at work so I scrolled through all their 3800 products and found one that had a 2 star rating, and that was the lowest rating I saw. several that had 3 star's.

What all are you doing to your car now? I've personally never had an issue with zzp, but I only order basic stuff like pulleys and....wait, just remembered I did buy their injector adapter harnesses. Those things were crap and gave me a scare when I first did my swap and couldn't figure out the misfires. It is sad that we are so limited now for performance parts.

I ordered a 2.5" pulley and received a 2.55" according to them, it was only etched wrong.

Dang dude, nice! You still at 18° timing? 2.5 is smallest you can go without a machined snout, yes, no? So u got meth, intercooler, e85 and ice box? I guess nitrous is next?

no ice box, everything else is correct. also running an XP cam. 2.8 is the smallest you can go without a machined snout, luckily I have a machined snout. and i'm actually running E98.

E98? Where da he'll do u get that? I'm considering your suggestion on cam. Engine is pretty much stripped, so now would be the time. Did you have a machine shop do the snout, or is this something a motivated guy can do with a saw and grinder?

I would recommend going a gen 5 swap, then send the snout to ed labarge and have it machined for a smaller pulley. or rent the tool from him and do it yourself. it will be cheaper to do it yourself. I ordered the barrel and had it shipped to my house. wasn't cheap. but it works so dang good. an xp cam is the way to go.

I'm leaning towards VS with rockers. Heads are milled for high lift. Gen V I'm gonna hold off for now because it's an easy swap. Keep on truckin' man, it's nice to see an active build. Not many left these days.

well I hate to say it but I think it's time to sell the car. I got a job in Albuquerque, NM and don't want to take the car with me. I put the car up for sale on facebook and have someone coming to look at it this morning.
