Hey everyone, just thought I'd take some time to give a sneak peak of what I've been working on for the past couple years.

My car is a 1998 Bonneville ssei which was my first car given to me by my father. I initially didn't plan on doing any mods,
but that all changed when I lost to a friends civic

    Parts List:
    Intense Stage 4 blower cam
Ported heads (were done by local shop with racing experience)
Built transmission (minus input shaft due to lack of funds)
    Headers
    Gen V m90

    To-do List:
    Fuel system (maybe E-85)
    Slicks
    Weight reduction
    Tuning
Attempting to fit a M112 supercharger off a cobra
    Intercooler
    nitrous (maybe)

Sorry about not having pictures to show but I do have a video of the first start up. (with open headers)

And unfortunately I probably wont have any updates in the near future as I'm away in college right now, and
my only source of income is working over the summer.

60# injectors and E85 if its possible to run where you live you wont regret it! that cam and heads would easily support a 2.8 pulley.
Mine is 2.8 on stock heads and s1x cam with E85. On E85 id expect over 350whp easy!

Corn juice is where it's at, might also consider doing a turbo swap.

I honestly think you need that input shaft. I have a collection of stock ones here. Mostly from catching a downshift but one was from a dig. 300m installed with 7/8" chain never had an issue again

This will help greatly with traction
    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ai...del/bonneville

An FWI if you move the current evap can is good. 4" will give you plenty of air(not pictured). I retained it, just moved it over

Small work on the pcm box and turned it sideways parallel to the radiator support

For your front mount, I found this to hold the power very well and didn't allow much movement in the motor while having no added vibration

Under the hood is a ton of room overall.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

That lope of the Is4 cam, insane. Sounds fantastic.

When it comes to the transmission, they are made from tinker toys and fail on stock power levels, and mods you've done plus planning on doing, you'll need an input shaft. The input shaft is one of the first parts to break on higher HP builds. It's a necessary replacement on these transmissions when adding extra power to it. I understand the lack of funds, I feel you there coming from one college student to another, but that should be your next investment when you can spring the money. You can pick up a lightly used 300M from members for a decent price.

What about the torque convertor thought you needed like a 3k stall since the power band is 3500-7500 rpm

    CAM-674 - INTENSE™ Stage 4 Blower Cam, duration @ .050": 235/238, lobe lifts: .375"/.376", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .600"/.601", lobe separation angle: 116, intake centerline: 112

Need a lot of head work, double timing chain , bigger push rods etc....

People have ran plenty of lift on stock chains or the likes of.

Double roller, IMO...is crap. Especially after breaking them.

And my cam wasn't as big as an IS4. Just too many failure rates for me to ever consider another one. Stock heads will be good to .550~, and milling the guides .110"~ should give you plenty of head room on an IS4. It's not that crazy.

Car sounds fantastic though, gotta love that ignorantly huge cam that shakes the face off of everything.

And for the record: don't waste your time with an MP112. Find something else.

BTW.. you can upgrade brakes if you swap the knuckles. It's been done by a couple guys 95NASTA is the main one that comes to mind.

But if you look at the lift vs spring pressure vs install height you see what .601 lift of a cam will do to those springs.
and 130# or more on a stock chain is kinda crazy

seems like a lot of money to prep the car for a s4x cam when the trans still has a stock input shaft. I'm just trying to be realistic as I am on the same the path looking for a bigger upgrade

I wouldn't be too worried about the IS.

I beat on a stock one.

    It worked.
