Died around 167k engine and trans were replaced thanks to the great people on this site. Rep engine has about 1300 miles on it trans 55k very smooth and happy with it.

Car was washed then compounded with Meguiars compound correction (D300) using a 5inch da polisher and mf cutting pads then polished with the polish from correction kit iirc

Some recent pics of the gp after a good wash then spray wax. Used 3d pink soap and quick wax detail after.

    shade shot

    Sunshine

    Backside

worked on the foggy fog lights cleaned em up with 400,1000 then 1500 then a few coats of uv resistant clear coat

Thanks to all the guys who helped on the engine trans swap thread especially Scottydog
also thansk to The Guz for pointing me in the direction of Meguiars and their open garage nights that teach you about detailing and their products etc, very cool experience.
More pics from nice locations to follow

For those that are curious what was done to the paint see the following link.

    http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...GGusKRuqJ35.97

Lot's of good guys and well known detailers working on the car. Can't beat that.
