Nah. Body shop. Get it done when the hood, fenders, bumper skins all get put on and car painted.

That was suppose to be happening this winter.. but will have to wait. Only thing I really plan on getting done this year is if I get my goal of 9s I will have
to upgrade to a 10pt cage. When that happens, gonna finish off gutting the dash out to drop the weight out of there and hopefully get the shell of the dash
    back in.

hah.. thats been pretty much the way its been since the start. Making it pretty keeps getting pushed to the back of the line.

Nice thing will be it will look almost stock on the outside. Other than SLP spoiler I took off my daily when I scrapped it recently.

Want it to look as stock as possible. The fiberglass stock style hood will be a nice drop. I am still crossing my fingers that between lexan
and hood, that I will near ~100lbs dropped there. But will see I guess, just will be a long time till then to find out

Should be good to 8.50's. More than enough as weight of the car will prevent me from most likely getting down that
far ever. I would need like 900+ WHP lol...

Yup.. thus why I want it out. What sucks is to upgrade the cage will probably add 20-30lbs back. But probably 30-40lbs? I hope can be yanked out of the
dash. Gotta off set the crap.

Carpet and center console will be going back in.. so gotta offset the 5 lbs for that also somehow

Will be running the skinnies so that will help also. Was to scared to run them before.

I still think a guy could cut a lot out of the wiper cowl area and under the dash forsure. Anything HVAC related if its still in the car too. I believe the Aztec and a few other vehicles use Aluminum bumper supports if you still have those also or you can swap them over.

There is no wiper system at all anymore. Once dash is out, I am gonna see if can make it so heater core stays and blower motor, but make it duct up to the windshield only.
For cool nights and fogging issues. AC tubes and junk would be pulled, along with what I guess is called crash beam? that goes across the dash.

There are no bumpers anymore. I had alum bumper supports but gave em both away recently. Just not gonna ever use em.

The aluminum grand am brakes are on the front now. Something like 20lbs off right there.

Price was $1190 shipped. That was to pretty much any where in the lower 48 guy had told me.

Plus found an old email where the sales guy said the 1/8th full kit, should shave off ~75lbs, give or take.
