wanted to hide alot of ugly, new mount setup does that quite well, it and the tabs for the tq link are unbent, the tabs are on the lower right but you cant see em well in the light reflection.

LCA tabs are done but not welded, due to the link angle and the arc of travel of the swaybar i have the idea that id be better off to remove the original inner zzp tabs and put new ones that allow the link to be straighter and just spacers on the sides of the heim.

farting with some additional parts lately

just need the lower spines cut out and welded in at the squares and then ground smooth.

still working on a complete new icm mount to allow the 3 stacked icm's to clear and give us some more room at the fusebox

still sorting out the sway bar heim joint links but its slowly coming along...

been getting a few more things done....

formed the Tq link mount and tabs, welded and ground the diagonal braces

looks good and fits well enough...shoulda made the overhang a bit longer so i wouldn't have to screw with the harness but it works fine, i just have to repackage the wire "knot" from when we re-ran and modified the oem harness.

    looks damn good though

i also managed to finally find a good design for the "long" sway bar end links that keep the sway bar close to the zzp LCA's (flipped upside down so the sway bar heim tabs point towards the ground) and keep the BMR sway bar end from gouging into the axle boot....

do you anticipate any hood clearance issues with the ignition control module mount sticking up that high?

the stacked ICM's is going on when i make a new icm mount for the cylinder head, there's plenty of clearance to the hood, just not to our radiator hose setup, the tq link arm has about 1/2" of hood clearance. i raised it for better leverage on the engine

Out of curiosity why didn't you swap over to ls style coils like rjc racing does on the grand nationals

you ever price the ICM to line level logic converter box that it requires? just a set of coilds will set you back 100+$

i have dozens of ICM's and coils and the new ICM stacking doubles the coil current to help offset the fact that one bank fires inversely and at several kv less than the other side of the coil.

far cheaper than the msd DIS 4 as well as any of the "turbo buick" stuff.

if i was going to blow the 600-1k for the rjc stuff id blow the $ on the newer megasquirt with the GPOIO trans controller and then use it to control the logic driven coils....cause then at least i also get much better/more expansive tables/ features.

our chambers aren't well designed for it, if anything I like cutback ground straps. it does help with our tight gap idle problem.

cars been running great on fresh e85. found a few fuel oring leaks and they are certainly old enough...gonna swap em out on the rail fittings and the injectors

diagonal braces are done but I think im going to redo my buick tq link plate to make it bigger around the loom breakout at the fan and engine harness from the core support harness crossover.

still working on the camber plates/sphericals to regain tire clearance with the intense/qa1 coilovers it does require the strut bucket be notched, I likely wont do anything more than camber as caster /thrust is still the subframe.
looks like ill have to make custom strut brackets for the ends of the BMR strut bar. trying to get him to sell it with his slp cutouts and lowering springs from the oem struts so I can make a new one out of aluminum that is stiffer and ties into the diagonals. for a heritage part we can keep the rear BMR bar

I gotta get the struts on to toss the brakes on and go through the gears so I might just toss it together with oem mounts and my anti pogo washers

god I need to finish the new icm mount so I can stack em and run .045 and get rid of the stutter

god I missed the distillery smell

Curious as to why you still want to use the qa1 intense setup. Someone with your metal work skills could pick up some fox body strange 10 ways and make a couple of mods and bam for only 119 a shock. I test fitted them on my never ending quest for a cheap retro fit. If I was back home I would've just made a complete lower adapter tube with eats welded on and fit the shock in place and shortened the rod

Everything looks good! DO you have to pull the control arm to grease it or is just the picture?

yeah I just planned on using the needle fitting to inject the grease the problem is zzp did not thread in the zerk straight enough so it ends up leaking grease as I pump it in so I'm just going to put a 90 in
