Alright guys been on here for almost a year now and haven shown my car. Its a 2004 Comp Group Edition GTP. i bought it with i believe 116xxx miles on it. been an amazing car.

Here is the day i brought it home

    and here is now.

    my two black beauties.

Ill post more pics after i do a bunch more work to her these next few days. But right now i've upgraded to 06 control arms and sway bar
    before

    after

also during the cold months some idiot hit my car while i was getting a drink at a gas station

luckily i am going to school for body repair so i was able to fix it and paint the lower valance at the same time
    before

    during

drove around for a week like this lol

and all fixed and pretty black again

like i said earlier. I'm getting ready to do the lower intake gaskets and mod the intake a little. And i will be painting so stuff under the hood, repaiting my calipers, and doing muffler deletes. and i will post pics when I'm done with that. And more of her all cleaned up

Yea you don't want to straight pipe the 3800.

If you want a better sound from it just replace the mufflers.. Personally I ran Borla XS pro w/ the stock resonator for awhile and loved it.

What did you coat your control arms with? I can't tell if they are supposed to look like granite counter tops or a fancy garage floor lol

My Nephews first car is a 3800 Impala. He wanted dual exhausts real bad so I gave him a set of Corvette chambered muffler eliminators. He removed his mufflers and put them on. If anyone thinks a 3800 sounds "Good" with the mufflers gone then they would get real excited over the sound of a UPS truck.
